I've always loved the stage and theaters. The world is a theater where all sorts of people perform together, and I think humans are like flowers. This is a photo essay by someone who thinks about such things. Maybe everyday life, and humans in general, aren't so bad after all. They're incomprehensible, annoying, scary, and creepy, but maybe there's something good about them too. This is a book that will make you think about such things and make your days a little more enjoyable.Graphic DesignReading -

"If you let others choose the photos to include in your photobook, won't it reflect how others see you?" This photobook was created as a way for five photographers—Hiraki and Tamaki (the organizers), Gonta, Shirokuma, Nako, and Hiyoko-no-ko—to confront "each other" and "photography" and answer that question. It captures the individuality of each photographer and the emotions they felt the moment they pressed the shutter. We hope this book will become a ship that takes you to various landscapes once you pick it up.Photo -
ContactMito as seen with an α camera
This is a 36-page A5-sized saddle-stitched zine, including the cover. It's an original photo zine (little press) focusing on Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture. It uses photographs primarily of Mito Station on the Joban Line, Lake Senba, and the area around the Mito Art Museum, weaving together these images with accompanying text. I hope this zine reaches many people—Mito residents, former residents, and those unfamiliar with Mito City—and that each person makes a new discovery. [Also included: "Local Series Shot with α..."].PhotoRead more
